A Huge Thank You From the McGaugh PTA!
What an unforgettable weekend at our Annual Carnival and Silent Auction on Oct. 18! From start to finish, our campus was filled with Kidchella smiles, laughter, and the kind of community spirit that makes McGaugh truly shine. None of it would have been possible without you!
To our amazing volunteers—parents, teachers, staff, and students—thank you for your energy and enthusiasm! From working the booths, selling tickets, setting up and cleaning up, to donating cakes, drinks and prizes, your time and effort brought this event to life.
We’re equally grateful to those who contributed to our Silent Auction—from collecting donations and assembling baskets to placing bids and cheering on your favorites. Your generosity fuels so many of the programs that make McGaugh such a wonderful place for our students to learn and grow.
We are also so thankful for the leadership and dedication of our Carnival Chairs, Jen Katz and Melissa Gatoff, and our Silent Auction Chairs, Jen Katz and Ivy Stain. Your countless hours of planning, organizing, and attention to every detail made this event an incredible success.
We’d like to extend our appreciation to the Seal Beach Lions Club and the many Los Alamitos High School student volunteers for their support and partnership. And of course, the entertainment was a highlight—thank you to Ms. Cruz for leading our talented McGaugh Choir in such a joyful performance. It was inspiring to watch the McAuliffe Middle School Choir perform and showcase what could become of our own choir members!
Every booth, every laugh, every song reminded us that when our community comes together, amazing things happen. Events like these remind us what makes McGaugh so special—the spirit of togetherness, generosity, and pride that defines our school community.

On October 18th, McGaugh PTA invited our community to a day of fun where peace, love, and laughter set the stage! It was a far-out day at our Kid-Chella Carnival! Colorful vibes, groovy tunes, and an amazing mix of inflatables, games, and crafts kept everyone having a blast! Some of the epic inflatables were Hungry Hungry Hippos, Human Foosball, the LARGEST Obstacle Course we have ever had, Bubble Rollers, and more! And there were some stellar crafts that brought big smiles such as, Dream Catchers, Build your own Stuffies, Crazy Hair and Flower Crowns, and Beads! For our far-out four and under crowd, there was a building block playzone just for them! And to amp up our music festival 
, there was a stage full of performances throughout the day.
It was a great day with friends and community, raising funds to support our events, activities, and programs throughout the school year!
All silent auction proceeds directly support McGaugh! Proceeds go to support programs such as International Culture Club, the Wellness Space, school field trips, school assemblies and guest speakers, classroom enhancements and school needs, academic intervention services for kids in need, and events like the Carnival, Astronomy Night, Movie Night, Family Fun Night, and so much more! Your support means so much and every bid made a difference. Thank you!!!
