PTA and Project SEEK: Different Roles, Shared Mission

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and Project SEEK (Seeking Excellence in Education for our Kids) are two volunteer groups that work in tandem to serve our community. They support our students, staff and families in different ways, but are united in the same goal – enhancing opportunities for all Sea Lions to create the strongest school for our children.

Through the generous contributions and support of our McGaugh community during the 2024-25 school year, the PTA was able to give back by funding fields trips and assemblies for all grades; providing staffing, supplies, and materials for the Wellness Center; funding an extra needed Intervention Teacher; supporting teachers with classroom needs, and programs and licenses used by all students; and offering numerous events to our McGaugh students and families like International Day, an Astronomy and STEAM Night, a Movie Night, a Family Fun Night and more!
