EACH STEP OF YOUR BACK TO SCHOOL CHECKLIST
1) Create a Membership Toolkit account for the McGaugh PTA website.
2) You (and the whole family!) can become a PTA Member to support all the services and activities the PTA provides at the school.
3) Opt in to receive McGaugh Connect. Be ready for the week ahead with this must-read weekly newsletter that is sent to McGaugh families each Sunday.
4) Sign up for ParentSquare to receive messages from McGaugh and the Los Alamitos Unified School District.
5) All families must complete an online data confirmation through AERIES.
6) Stay tuned as we showcase our NEW online spirit store where there will be so many new merchandise to check out! Students can show off their school spirit each day - and wear their red spirit shirts every "Aloha Friday".
7) Follow McGaugh Sea Lions and McGaugh PTA on Instagram.
8) Join the McGaugh Families Facebook group page. Be sure to fill out the questions to ensure you're accepted to this private group, only for McGaugh families.
9) Subscribe to the Sea Lion Splash on YouTube. Created by our very own Assistant Principal, Rick Larson, this weekly recap gives a fun look into student life at McGaugh.
10) Check the McGaugh Calendar for upcoming events.
11) Buy school supplies. Click here to see what is being requested by grade level.
12) Get a computer for the Bring Your Own Device program. (For students in 1st-5th grade)
13) Learn more about Project SEEK -- the nonprofit parent volunteer group that raises funds for the teachers and supplies in McGaugh's Art Lab, Innovation Lab and Sea Lion Lab.
14) Explore Kids Korner extended daycare options and Los Alamitos Education Foundation after school enrichment programs.
15) Prepare an Emergency Supply Kit and make sure to bring it during the first week of school.
